What love story or couple, whether it was real or fictional, in the past or in actuality, is your favorite?

Good thread. Er...Paul & Linda McCartney seemed pretty devoted to eachother. Odette Sansom & Peter Churchill...that's it for now!

My parents and grandparents.

I never had to deal with issues of being in a broken home...and there was always love around.

Thanks Mum and Dad love

They are all very similar. Books I am talking about. It is hard to pull one out of the many and have it stand above the rest. Someone will take it as a recommendation and then wonder how it could be rated above others.

I have never read Romeo and Juliet and have no inclination to neither. One that does come to mind was "Tandy" By Bryce Courtney. A continuation of the "Power of one" story. Where he finds love.

But I did have this comic response.

Snow white.

It is a proper story of everyday life. Where the daughter grows to an age where she detracts from her mother. So the Mother kicks her out into the real world to learns life lessons. She dates lots (seven to be exact) but finds each is lacking something and leaves her disatisfied. Then just as she gives up on life and true love Prince Charming steps into her life and sweeps her off her feet.

What more could you want in a good love story and it was simple.

Geeeesh did I forget to put my lippy on again....laugh laugh

The one thing I did learn ........Life is never easy.

Its a bit like a bank....you can only draw out what you put in.

People in my parents era worked at it......no instant fix or trade ins.....and the grass was not always greener on the other side.yay
