This seems to be the very first question a female asks me when sending me a message. The second I tell them I am currently unemployed because i had to care for my dying mother, I am left without a response.

Now i will bounce back and am looking every day. I even have school plans in the fall. Who cares about the fact that I am a good person, make great conversation and have a big heart though.

The second I say I am in a temporary rut, the messages stop. Is a guy who can spend their money on them, all women are really after?

Good question, I have always avoided it previously, because it's of a personal nature and may give a false impression of why I am on here.

Now, I have reached the point where it does not matter. I have become somewhat of an expert in determining why I get the responses I do and as to whether I dismiss them as scammers or those who seek to enter into a relationship with ulterior motives.

I own a restaurant with two flats above from which I receive an income sufficient to be comfortable.

In exchange for my good fortune, in life, I run an on line debt counselling business which is largely charitable, but involves me defending people less fortunate than myself in the English Courts, where the banks, mortgage or credit companies have applied for Possession Orders to remove them from their homes.

I also deal with bankruptcy cases and provide advice to individuals or small businesses who find themselves in financial difficulties.

I am legally licensed by the appropriate government authorities and have yet to loose a case in Court.

I say yet, because, no doubt there will come a time when I will loose and I would find that difficult to deal with, on a personal level.

Well, that is very commendable, my friend. I have no idea why someone would have a problem with that......... dunno?? Perhaps you are trying to associate with the wrong type of woman?? Again, I don't know how many times it needs saying, but not all women are the same!!

You sound chipper though, despite it all, don't lose that positive outlook, will ya?? thumbs up applause
And good luck with your plans!!

I will usually tell the women the general job description as far as compensation I use discretion. Seriously if things do happen to progress to the long term level then I would feel more comfotrable disclosing that information. I was a collections manager for quite a few years. I have had a rut for about 8 months. I went through my savings. That is not a pretty picture but I did bounce back and thats all that matters to me. javascript:emot('doh');
