So today between cranking out brilliant words of wisdom and shining beacons of knowledge, I realized I don't own a martini shaker.

Wally World was all out, so was Zellers, so I called Home Outfitters.

Oh they them alright. $40 each and sorry, that's a bit rich for even my blood. Okay, I'm a cheapskate.

So the sales lady informs me these gorgeous stainless steel shakers are on clearance.

Guess for how much???

Guess? Come on?

Whoever gets it right gets a martini of their choice on the house. cheering

I've got two very large stainless steel martini glasses, couldn't afford the shaker lol

I'm guessing just under a hundred bucks somewhere.

Maybe I misread that. $40 regular price?

My martini glasses cost $75 about three years ago, but are oversized, big big big.

Jimmy don't feel bad, man!

We've all overpaid -- and more than few times.

I hate it when people tell me they paid less, too. laugh

But these are beauts. Art deco design. The outer shell has holes of varying sizes. the inner flask is a silver mauve tone.

Can't wait to use them. Tonight.applause

"Sorry, but how can you drink straight vodka?"

Well most premium vodkas are ok if they are chilled, smooth, over ice, sipped. Need a taste for it though.
But your right, maybe throw a lime wedge in there then too lol laugh

cheers
