Completly agree with you and have said almost that exact thing to them....unfortunaltely they just had a really bad connection...lol
im guilty of chatting to a few in the past but dont like instant messaging as much as i enjoy text messaging with my phone personal preference,now i like to focus on one good conversation rather then ity bits of others as i make errors opps

As for me never had a problem, if I have guest and the phone rings I always tell them I would call them back when my guest r gone...
Only once while visiting with a friend, phone rang and she stayed on the phone and after 5 minutes I got up from the table and left, which she thought I was gone to watch tv...
And when she called me wondering where I went, "I told her I would call her back, that I did not want to be rude and stay on the phone while having coffee with a friend"
She never done that again!

She never done that again!yes i am the same way too dawn,, i would never hang on a phone while having company,, or never ever go on my computer while company is over,, that is so rude i think,, i don't appreciate it if when others do that to me,, we sure don't stay too long,, instant messaging,, most of us women can handle talking to a few at a time with no waits in between,, but again,, one's attention should be with just the one,, my 2 cents
