I want to see the developement of a global language, so we can all understand each other better. And it would be great if we could end hunger, i mean come on we can mass produce food in some areas, just start breeding the hell out of animals. We just wont do it because we a greedy pigs, and we cant make money off of it. Its not right em being able to enjoy a 20 dollar prime rib, and we cant even give starving people the worst parts....

And id like to see the end of all religions to stop all these silly wars, but i dont think that will ever happen.

The soft nicker of a mare to her new born foal.

My mother's eyes when she is happy and at peace in her world.

The smiles and giggles of a child totally lost in play.

The view from the top of Mt. Katahdin.

The power of the ocean from the deck of a boat.

1. Machu Picchu - The haze lifts and you are looking at the lost city of a long forgotten culture
2. The Great Wall of China - Imposing in it's stature as it snakes off into the distance
3. Galapagos Islands - There are things you will see here that you won't find anywhere else in the world and the wildlife has no fear of man.
4. Western Sahara - With the shifting of the sands and the changing position of the sun the color changes minute by minute. Every morning you wake up and the landscape has changed while you were sleeping.
5. Petra - You wander through As Siq to come upon the Treasury building. A rose-red city that facinates and enchants.

I want to go to the emirate of Dubai because I find their architecture astonishing, ambitious and beautiful.

Great topic!

1. My girls' births.
2. The twin towers site 6 months after. It was heartbreaking to stand on the platform and realize just how big it was.
3. Ice sculptures in Sapporo, Japan. They use colored ice and the sculptures were huge and amazing.
4. Antwerp, Belguim. The architecture is amazing.
5. Getting off the plane in Anchorage, Alaska while flying back from Japan. It was summer and the air was so crisp and clean and quiet. It was beautiful!

One day I will tour Ireland and the UK, see the Sistene Chapel, and spend days in the Louvre yay

Maybe not interesting to everyone, but these are the some of my strongest.

The black curls of hair on my son’s head when they laid him on my chest after he was born. Looked like the swirls you make when frosting a cake.

The way a newly hatched sea turtle will instinctively keep turning toward the sea and try to head for it no matter if you do turn it around the other way. (No, didn’t sit there torturing the thing, and helped it past the rough surf to get to the ocean.)

Didn’t see it, but hear my then 4 year old daughter smiling, over the phone, once during a seriously horrid family disaster, when she was many miles away.

The eyes of my one true love, when he was using them to tell me how much he loved me, didn’t have to say anything. (RIP C)

The the school gym exploding on the first day of desegregation, (literally, the bomb took out 2 full walls) and the shock of the kids who went to the school, then the hate rising against who had set it. Such hard looks on such young faces.

As for me, I live 25 minutes outside of NYC and most of my extended family is still there...trust me when I tell you that everytime you go into NY you see something crazy and interesting...sometimes downright frightening!
