I've been there. A couple years ago my son made a remark at school about there never being any food in the cupboards and fridge. This remark was made to a teacher who then called DCYF (Division of Children, Youth and Families). I had to let a caseworker into my apt to inspect the cupboards and fridge. Guess what? There was food, just not what he wanted which was all junk. Because of a history of heart disease on both sides of the family I watch what I buy.
And there were more things. The stories I could tell when it comes to my oldest :D
