I think it was, in a temporary moment of despair, an internet search of dating sites. I liked what I saw, and thought, hmmmm, maybe I'll hang around a bit.

my son read about the site in the local newspaper and signed me up....he convinced me to get with the times and set up an email address...he told me it would be a great way to practise my computer skills...so everyone i chatted with first must have thought i was mad...when i told them my son set me up on the site to practise my computer skills...but i am so lucky he did as now i have met the man of my dreams here 9 months ago and we are going strong since....

I came across it by accident, had a look and thought I'd give it a go. I didn't bother with the Forums to start with but after a few months, I put up a thread asking for some advice. I was overwhelmed by the gracious and helpful responses from people that I hadn't yet got to know well.........

i joined this site a long while ago......i think it was a link off another site i used to be on......so i joined and thought...what the hell.......didnt really come on much...even made myself invisible for a while....never bothered with the forums......but ya know what....you lot are a class act...a really nice lot.....and im glad i did now.....cheers people....

I was just surf'in the web...actually joined a country site...totally displeased after a week there and I wondered if all sites were like that one. I deleted my entire profile. This site came up once more and I decided to give it a try...sure am glad I did. You guys are the best!!
