she's no longer in my lfie but always in my heart.. my baby sister who lost a long battle with cancer at 15. She taught me about real courage and real faith
The Lord has sent me angels, they are angels I have known. In life they were my comfort and through them I have grown. In death they still watch over me and pray for my dear soul. They prayed my life was bountiful and prayed my life was whole. They are not really gone though for they have never really left. My heart will always keep them with thoughts of happiness.
Think what you want...lol, wrote after my Dad died in February.
I would definetly say my mother. She was always there for us through the good and bad and never complained about it once. She always deal't with problems with patience and grace..
She taught me everything I know about life and did a great job to..
She will be gone 15 years this year and not a day goes by that I don't miss and think of her. Love you mom..
My parents. They were married for 40 years "til death do us part". My father passed away 8 years ago as of next month due to a stroke. I think of him more often as I walk thru the woods with my youngest son each hunting season carrying his 30.06 wondering if I was that noisy while following him Even to this day my mother is still devoted to my father
Yes they did. My parents were into camping with us kids. My father got into Boy Scouts with us boys while my mother did the Girl Scouts with my sister. Of course there was deer hunting every Nov with my father. When my father bought the land in upstate NH, every one of us pitched in to build the camp. It was a family thing :) Since my father passed away, one night each year at camp during hunting season, the bottle of Scotch comes out and we make a toast to him. He loved his single malt scotch :)
She raised me, my sister and two other brothers all by herself.
She has taught me to never give up, She has taught me to never judge anyone, to give people a chance, to love unconditionaly, to work hard to get what you want and to never lose hope.
I remember growing up and she would always let us bring friends over. Didn't matter if we were like 20 people. She would make sure we had fun and everything. She was not only a mom to us but to everyone else. She was caring and loving.
She is still alive and right now battling lung and stomach cancer. She was diagnosed in Nov 2004 and since then has had countless treatments and has never given up fight. She is in chemo right now and is in great spirits despite losing all her hair and weight and energy.
My mom is my biggest hero and idol and always will be.
My friends in Boca Raton-Rick & Sharon. I met them via Divine appt. I met the guy who worked for Rick (at a phone booth, answering a call on my beeper). I got a job with Rick, in which I made $3oo.oo in three days, just keeping a generator running. Rick took on Yacht detailing work for me to become a full time employee. He wanted to minister to me, and lead me to Salvation, but went the extra mile... Rick was getting married, and I went with the guy who worked for Rick, to the wedding. I met Ricks wife Sharon at the reception.
...God told them to take me in, and give me some privacy/space, after my husband threw me away, because he thought love was a feeling, not a choice. They built a room on into their living room for me.
Alot of Christians preach, but few give you what you need first. Their patience, and self sacrifice, has shown me the true meaning of giving from the heart. They shared their home, time, family(two small boys), and heart with me. I am forever grateful. I miss them sooo bad!
When I was a child, my father owned an apartment house in NYC. There was a tenant on the 2nd floor named Mr. Cagan. My parents were alcoholics and Mr. Cagan knew what was going on. He took me to a church and prayed over me. I cried like I never did before. I was 9. Ever since then my aspect on people changed. I've learned to forgive.
