well...depends on the person.... There are young people out there that have alot of common sense as well as people that never get the hint no matter how old they get.
If someone constantly finds themselves getting into the same bad situations then I would have to say that they may never ever learn and it is just a character flaw on their part...
Usually people learn from their pain and realize "why" and "how" they are getting themselves into situations and eventually learn how to make wiser choices. The key to it is to look at yourself and others in an objective light and be able to accept what you see...I dunno, that's just what I think is all.
