Anyone know about scanners that read negatives? (6)

I need to figure out how to remove the "document mat" - then it will work.
I did not use the ID number, didn't think of that, not sure where it is.

I have a Canon scanner and have scanned negatives before and they came out great. There is a setting in the scan software you set to scan negatives. Not sure what it would be in your software but mine has a drop down menu and you choose the source...ie color photo, color negatives, slides, etc.

she is doing great you know we had a flood here we lost everything.But my brother eric 911 on here is the computer head ,but ill try look on your instructions it will have the id number or look on the scanner itself.You should see us we are living together like we did growing up.kathy is on another site where quite a few from here are email me ill tell u i sure dont want get in trouble.

I am trying to scan negatives but keep getting the error message that the scanner cannot find the document.
Anyone ever use one of these before?
