sad about age (47)
vallygirlllanelli, Dyfed, Wales UK1 Threads 7 PostsHi. I met someone on this site which I really like but he lied about his age. he said he was 43 but turned out to be 37. Do you really think that age matters. Im 55 years old. I know a lot of women will think its ok, but is it really.
Age does not matter but the fact he lied to you about 1 thing who knows what else he could be lieing about...
Yeah, it sounds really okay to me a 37 year old, if he's really nice and you don't want him tell him to contact me ...

I don't think age matters one iota. So long as you both get along and wanting the same sort of things in life, then age doesn't matter.

He mite lied because he was scared if he told his real age that it would have put u off totally??

Thanks you all for your advise. I like him so much I am going to look past his age and his lies. Ive said my age was younger many times so why shouldnt I except his little white lie. Yes he could be lying about other things but I will just have to wait to find them out. Life is too short to get rid of someone for such a small mistake. He didnt say why he lied. I think a lot of people dont tell the whole truth but there are more honest than dishonest. here's to happiness. thanks guys.
i met my ex-partner on another internet dating site,she lied to me about her age,she said she was younger than she was and did look it,but cant understand why she lied because i always said i prefered women the same age or older Mmmm

no, dont go there a lie is a lie is a lie - no matter why he told it, it doesnt bode well for the future 
I know lot's of people who have fibbed about their age. Jeeez, I still tell my kids I am 21 
I personally think, people who fib about their age, aren't doing it to intentionally deceive as such, but I think it is more of a personal issue, for them.

yep, i was still getting 21st cards from my kids well into my 40's - but a potential relationship is a bit different
I agree Trish a lie is a lie, and if it's about something as trivial as age then what else is he hiding (wife and 3 kids prehaps?) who knows, age has never been an issue for me as I forget how old I am, that is until my kids remind me that is
Perhaps we should dispense with age or just use 20 ish 30 ish or 40 ish does it matter?
