Well.this is going to date me.(long before most of you young pups were born)1st single i ever bought......."DYNAMITE".....by MUD..must have been 73/74?..looked up the video on youtube the other day..the phrase "young and daft"springs instantly mind!....never mind.....there where halcyon days indeed.
Who's sorry now.. by Connie Francis, think it was 1952, can remember it as if it was yesterday... the quality was crystal clear too considering I used to play it on my gramophone, shame I only used to hear half the song cos I used to get cramp in my arm after ten minutes of winding it up....
first bought, got Buzzcocks - ever fallen in love with someone you shouldn't have, The Jam - David Watts with my 11th birthday money cos the lad i fancied wouldn't come to my party if i didn't have cool music. i preferred ma baker - boney m and summer night city by Abba that i actually got as presents!!!! guess the year!
