I have been doing some extensive research on my heritage and ancestors and in the process I have found that I have Italian, English, Irish, French, Scottish, German, Dutch and Cherokee Indian blood that runs through my veins. I was born and raised in the United States and so were my parents. So besides being a Heinz 57, Would you still say that I am an American? Just curious.
I dont think this is one person here, if they traced their blood line would not find a mix of international heritages. No matter how small. So I would say, if you were born in the United states, that makes you an American citizen. Heritage and ancestoral bloodlines are a totally different topic I think. I have a mix of Choctow Indian (Paternal) and German and Dutch (Maternal), but I was born in Ohio, in the USA, so yes, I'm sure I am an American.
