"And they lived happily ever after". In out childhood, how many times did our mother read that line, to us? At the end of every fairy tale, of course All fairy tales end with happy endings,
Most ending with a prince and princess falling in love
Love? “What is love?” we asked our mothers, after such stories We never quite got a good enough answer; Is, even, such an answer? As young boys and young girls, could we understand love? No: No one can ever, really, understand love
Love is undefinable - undescribable Love is love
Growing up, piece by piece, Fairy tales became a thing of the past, though “love” was never forgotten
Elementary school was filled with crushes Junior High was filled with likings High School was filled with undeveloped love The above, though, isn’t to discrete the slim few who were blessed with the ecstacy of true love
In these periods of our lives, We are so immature and misunderstanding Yet, not knowing what’s to come, we all wish to experience it...
And, learning from our past, we do We do experience love, taking-in all of the knowledge that we can
Oh, how depraved and beautiful, it can be...
Joy and sorrow, Smiles and frowns, Gains and losses: Love Brace yourself for the worst, even when the best is to come, early in your life - early in your love
The all of us can be so vulnerable to love’s tender touch of pain It’s much easier to break a heart, rather than make a heart
But love’s nothing to be afraid of Love is but a twining experience
As our hearts flood with jubilancy And we feel such a connection with another, You’ll feel it You’ll feel it, in your heart You’ll experience the constant throbbing, Wanting, never, to let go
You shall cry tears of grief, yes... But it cannot compare to the synopsis of loving - of sharing your heart, mind, and soul with that other Love is beautiful
If you think upon a high level And stay true to your heart, Who knows, You might find yourself living that fairy tale ending.
