After a break up, in your opinion, how long should one wait before "Getting back on the dating horse?". Remember, there is no wrong answer to this question, just trying to see what the general public says!

Are you suppose to break up first????doh

If the feelings there and the oppertunity, 5 mins I say. How's that saying go? Suck it up butter cup.

I figure lifes to long, and if the chance be that I can enjoy it with some one, I'm going to jump at it. I have a buddy whos been waiting 3 years now, just cause he thinks there might be the chance she'll come back. He's one misrable puppy let me tell you.

I don't think there is a time limit - it just is what it is.
More when you feel comfortable with it.

Whenver you feel ready. I personally wont date, until I am over "wishing for hubby to come back" because I do NOT want to break some guys heart if my husband did come back into my life... it's only been like a month though since we been seperated. I don't want to wait forever, hopefully 6 months - 1 year i'll be ready to date.

It depends on the your emotions, as u stated u feel like a weight off your back which is all the signals "it was a good decision"

In your case no waiting time....

Unfortunately for her if she thinks u will be back!dunno

If u were heart broken about everything and having a difficult time it is a no brainer which is time to heal before going into the dating scene wine

Depends on the break up. The relationship may have ended way prior to the break up and the break up is just a confirmation. Sometimes the break up is the first news of anything being wrong. Judge each break up accordingly but its ultimately up to you when you decide you're ready to get back out there.

When you are ready, you'll know. When the time is right for you.
