I had a converstaion with a guy earlier regarding Guinness. So I pick up a six pack. However I had two choices. One was Extra Stout. The other was wrapped in plastic. 11.2 oz bottles. Same price So I got the 12 oz bottles. What's the difference? I usually drink Bud. I've always wanted to try homebrewing, as it's cost effective, more natural. Plus a friend of mine used to make awesome homw brew. So what are your thoughts on the various types of beer?dunno

I usauly go for taste. The Guiness I bought is pretty thick tasting. But like this guy told me, after one I wouldn't care what the taste is.

I am a big guinness drinker and I think the difference maybe the strength. Over here we only get Guinness, in cans, pints and bottles with no differences. In the U.K. they sell Nigerian Guinnes which is about 9.2% and twice as strong as normal Guinness.

I have travelled quite a few places and favorite by a long mile..is:

FRENCH...
Yep ,,For me its the best...But they don't export the good stuff.

The guiness equivalant in Demark is called Elephant..thats heavy and will put hairs on yer chest.

The worst beer I have ever had is Miller Light. Cats Piss..no,,thats wrong..Cats Pee is stronger.

I've heard of Elephant., I used to collect cans and bottles as a kid. I agree, pretty much any light beer is like watered down real beer.
