Is it much a'do about nothing ? Today is the 10th anniversary of her death. I'm sure that she was a very nice person. It saddens me that she was manipulated into the royal family as a tool to modernize the outdated blue bloods. She did her best against the fortress of the royals. I believe it's time to let it go.
Sad to say, some 12-year old will probably be shot and killed today by a drive-by in a crime-ridden neighborhood, and few will give it a second thought.
Mother Teresa spent her whole life in the worst conditions truly helping those in need. She died not too long after Princess Di. Her death made the front page for on issue only.

There are many of those Lola...and many not so beautiful ladies who do far more good without the accompanying publicity machine behind them.
This may be coming across as cynical, but it's anything but. Just because she enjoyed so much coverage, it doesn't make her alturistic prowess any more impressive than the long serving and long suffering nurse in any hospital in any country anywhere in the world.

Actually..Diana did more for the people than all the royals put together. Her work in charity was unending,,almost ceaseless and she did a lot of good for a lot of people. More than any politician or local government office,,I know and thats for sure.
To be honest,,I'm not a fan of Diana and the hystria that came to pass over her death I simply could not understand.
As for manipulated into the marriage..that is just nonsesne..she had a choice..this is not India where we arrange marriages,,my Canadian Cousins,,this Great Britain. If she did'nt want to marry,,she did'nt have to..FACT.
Where do you people get this crap from..(I am asking here,,cause I would like to know.)
