It's so nice to close ranks sometimes, as in; I got a couple of flowers from men tonight. It is time that men show their appreciation for one another as women have been doing for millennia. I don't mean in the "jock", sense, "hey, great base hit buddy", and a high five. There are no more beasts to slay. The field has become level. "Machismo", is outdated and a remnant of the 50's.

What is being communicated is that it is indeed okay to have guy friends, and you don't have to belch, scratch, flatulate, or talk about last night's football game to prove you're a MAN at the same time.
"I want a man to act like a man. It's natural". And how exactly should a man act ? Women are operating heavy equipment, they're police officers, etc. The boundaries have been crossed and that is a good thing.
Well , since you need advice on how a man should act , I will give a couple of suggestions.
A man should be a protector , a man should be strong. Being feminine might sound good on the Oprah show , but when the chips are down and trouble appears , the man should stand up. Crying is not what we look for in a time of crisis.
Yes , women are "policemen" . But when an arrest has to be made , a woman cop always has to have a man wrestle the criminal.
Hmm well I dont agree with the police officer comment. Before my back injury when I was in the Army, I didnt need any help with anything like that, I could run as fast and do as many push-ups as the next guy. I carried men and women to my ambulance and had many occasions where I unfortunately had to "wrestle" someone, as most of my years in the Army were working with mp's ...even though I was a medic.
Also My sister is a police officer and she is 5'3 and could apprehend anyone....I have seen her do it.
OMG paws, you make me I can just imagine how some men will or did react to getting an affectionate flower....from another man. We ladies send other ladies flowers all the time, in affection. It is a natural thing, for women, to feel affection towards one another. However, males are not so up on this idea. They are "taught" early on, it is not the way of the man to show affection towards another man....it's just not cool.....Again, I say, they've been "taught" this.
