Not all end up there, When I went through Dublin last year I had a 12 hour lay over so was going to meet a friend I have for lunch who lives just outside Dublin but the damn customs officer didn't seem to like something in my passport and stamped in transit only and told me I couldn't leave the airport or the security zones in it.

yeah my 1st stop was in Shannon but never got off the plane, was on my way to Birmingham with a change of planes in Dublin.
