I don't know about the rest of you here, but I use this forum for many things. I use it as a source of amusement, connecting with friends, venting frustrations, sharing thoughts, pasting and copying somethings that I find to share with others might be included in that definition of "sharing thoughts".

I enjoy communicating with people from all over the world, finding out about how life is in their part of the world, things that they they are interested in, are also interesting to me. I love sharing stories and interacting with everyone on here. I try to treat others as I myself would like to be treated, with respect and tolerance. But, there are some people who make that almost impossible with the things they say or how they come across in their threads. We are all here with one thing in mind and that is CONNECTING...hence the name CONNECTING SINGLES.

Some members are here to meet a signifigant other, some are here to enjoy the forums once they find their other half, some are here for the humor, some are here for ulterior motives and I sometimes just can't presume to know why some people even bother to log in. Some people find this site as a method to relieve their inner tensions, some use it as a forum for their own agendas, some use it to provoke reactions from others for some unknown reason, but every is here for a reason and has a purpose.

Is it too much to ask to just enjoy the time we have on this forum, to openly communicate, to spread laughter, joy, humor and opinions. I realize that every opinion is not going to be thought provoking, humorous, light-hearted or enjoyable to read. But, that is what makes it interesting and in my opinion beings that I am the one writing this post...that is what makes these forums so diverse and unique...there is something to be said for those to qualities.

Who doesn't want to be free to express their opinions??? I'll tell you who...those people who don't have their own and they must have very boring almost non-existent lives to have absolutely nothing constructive to add to anything.

and I sympathise with your view point and agree that in the main it is better to be constructive rather then destructive
however, there are soooo many bloody pointless threads on here where sooo many boring people take themselves soooo bloody serious;ly i think a little flipant but light relief is sometimes required.

added to that, as you corectly point out it is free for all to react on this site we feel suits our mode of thought at that time!

after all, we should be here to mix and meet and share new experiences but that isnt always possible to achieve - not for all of

we cannot all be as fortunate as ice and BND and zwoon over our partners in postsings on threads.
