Shipoker, there`s a little bar just down the street from me, less than 1/2 mile. They have one of the most extensive karaoke systems I have ever seen.
When I go, I like to have a couple beers, and listen to the other people sing. I occasionally will sing a couple tunes myself.
I usually sing something country, like `Whiskey Girl`or `I Love this Bar`, by Toby Keith.
It is fun, and even more so if you have a date along.

well...the only reason I would suggest karaoke after a nice dinner or such, is the idea is to impress your date! Since I don't have a lot to work with, I have to rely on my singing to impress people.

yeah, Mitch....that's what we call karaoke courage!! A few drinks!! After a few drinks...you sing better, and after a few drinks, the audience thinks you soung great!!
