Go to karaoke, that is! A date for me would involve karaoke, obviously! I wonder how many karaoke singers there are on CS and what is your opinion of karaoke? I should say here, that if a "date" didn't want to go to karaoke, it isn't a deal breaker.
In Japan, according to the Travel Channel, more people do karaoke that watch T.V. Please keep in mind, that karaoke isn't about good singing. It's about having fun. Getting loose, let your hair down, and act like the star you wish you were
And if you do karaoke...what are your favorite songs to hear or to sing?
Just trying to lighten-up on the political crap, as of late!!

Well, I've never been to one and I can't sing a note..... and as for a FIRST date... no! But it does sound like fun and for subsequent dates.... yes, maybe.
I like to surprise the host by digging out songe from the 50's and 60's that have been forgotten about. I really enjoy singing songs by British artist that are basically unknow in America, like Cilla Black
well...the only reason I would suggest karaoke after a nice dinner or such, is the idea is to impress your date! Since I don't have a lot to work with, I have to rely on my singing to impress people.
yeah, Mitch....that's what we call karaoke courage!! A few drinks!! After a few drinks...you sing better, and after a few drinks, the audience thinks you soung great!!
