The real problem was, I would not have recognized her at all if she hadn't introduced herself to me.The change , from pic to person was dramatic . I didn't go looking for a super-model, I realize the wear and tear of life believe me, I got it to. But at least what you see is what you get. That's all I ask in return.

We, including ZoomZoom, unfortunetly are visual beings, I do agree that it's the insides that make for a lasting relationship, but if you can't get past the outside because of shock to the system, expecting one thing and getting another, then there is no future to pursue. We may get older and look for other assets in a partner but we still are attracted by the visual.

well, if I had posted that...twenty women would have jumped in and said what a sorry person I was(just like all you men) for even caring about her outward appearance. You must be well liked here on CS, because no one attacked you for your post!! Usually they act like a pack of ravenous wolves if you mention a person's looks!!

It still seems to me that many have missed the point....it has happened to me, too. It's not the age..it's not usually the looks....BUT, I simply do NOT want to start out any new relationship with lies or deception. Some men that I met were at least 100 lbs. heavier than their pictures. I do not necessarily mind a big man, but I DO MIND deception.
