Don't believe Arming our police will help. What would help is stiffer penalties. Confiscating all assets of the person involved in gun crime. whether found to be made illegal or not

Maybe you are right and maybe you are wrong, but until we have someone brave enough to stand up and change the laws and time spent in prison we will still have headlines with people being shot or armed robberies on our streets.

after a spell in the army as the legendery gillyloves69 knows!

i am an ex serving soldier at 19 due to a medical condition with my ears that i picked up wen i was in1 (partially deaf) so my views on violent force through arms are different!

not saying whether iv killed or not but a weapon becomes apart of you, mine kept me alive a 2nd wife or girlfriend (u sleep with it, piss with it, die with it!)

now i personally think the police force are too childishto handle weaponry that can kill and as ive seen maim people and there third partys! so i believe no that police should not be armed, BUT why is there no movement on these tasers? having used one and one being used on me i know for a fact they are a painfull but not a life threatning way to uphold the sodden law of our once great island!

i dont know what you people think and totaly respect your opinions as we are all entitled to you in our society!

yes it was ALBERT PEIRRPOINT who said that the rope was the answer to those that kill. So if we a so called democracy lets have a referendum . And bring back the rope. Since the use of DNA it has stopped mistakes being made.

All the police need to be armed nowadays,on the street it is so easy to get a firearm i could probally get one within the hour if i needed one say to let off some lead at the jerk down the bar who spilt my pint.

I think it would be great if hanging came back but the accussed would have to be 100% guilty, Maybe we could be more like Saudi Arabia and chop hands off for stealing too bit barbaric but hey it is a deterrent, what about public hanging in all major cities at lunch time on a monday, would stop my monday morning blues come to think about it i would apply to be a hangman

ha ha heaven forbid they made me a judge manetho id have no mercy hangings would definitly go up; my brother has been in the police force and as a prison warden ,he said its very disillusioning .
too many have it easy and they reoffend noteably childmolesters.
The countrys gone to hell manetho , when we were youngsters you dare not disrespect the onbeat policeman or you got a slap lol;
same with our parants teachers ;whats lacking is disapline with youths and possibly getting everything handed on a plate.
