OK...so you have met that "Special Someone"....Now what?
Before you start, think about this one...You have met someone special and the two of you have great chemistry, His/her kisses are as sweet as sweet as that homemade apple pie. You can't stop thinking about him/her and your hear goes "pitter patter" every time you get a phone call or e-mail....so now what?

Do you just sit back and enjoy the ride? Get to him/her even better? Do you crank the engines and go "all ahead full"?

For me...I want get to know that person even better. I want to know what is inside their heart and their mind. I want to know who they really are as a person. Passion and Compassion are very true & telling attributes that define a person from the inside out. They bring the person down to earth and help to make the romance real and honest.

Ok...now it's your turn...share your thoughts and suggestions.

I agree.. with that.. one should take a little time to get to know someone before just jumping right in.. it's been my experience though
that most everybody on here.. not all mind you but the majority have the same story... their heart has been torn out and they don't know if they can trust again.

The problem with that is that it leaves us to have to prove that we aren't like this other person.. I know what it's like to have your heart torn out.. it has happened to me.. but I won't make a lady walk in someone elses shadow that has done me wrong in my past.. The next question is how long shold one take to get to know a person?

I believe if there is definite chemistry there, then the relationship should be pursued with interest on both parts..and there should be as much communication as possible in the getting to know eachother and it shouldn't be one mostly doing all the trying...

How long have you known this person?

Is this a crush or do you believe it might be something more?

If the two of you have chemistry and the kissing is good (key elements, btw), communication is the next "biggie".

I am with you. Get to know the person as well as you can. Know him/her better than their best friends know them. Of course, that will take time - a lot of time.

If you both are willing to make the investment/effort/commitment, all the passion, compassion, and love you long for might just be yours.

Good luck!

Hey smalltown_girl64!

I've decided my best course of action is to claim the Fifth!!

Otherwise I might just give away my game plan and that would not be a good way to win her heart over!

I will give you this much....I believe that this has the making of being something more than just a passing crush! As far as getting to know her...well, communication has to be a 2 - way street and she has to LET me be her best friend and trust me enough to allow me to be close to her....

The rest is up to the Gods of romance and Love...

You guys have totally gotten off the subject here...

I was asking about how someone should move ahead once they believe they have found that special someone. For me it is all about building the relationship through sharing...Sharing time, sharing, conversation, sharing likes & dislikes, sharing opinions on everyday things, sharing more than just intimate moments, sharing your inner most thoughts and dreams and visions of your own future.

cheers hug kiss
