talk in your sleep? For instance, someone has told you that you talk in your sleep, because obviously you wouldn't know otherwise!...lol or do you know someone who does this? I wonder because my boyfriend talks in his sleep, and at times has very interesting conversations while sleeping. At first, i thought he was talking to me, but then i came to the realization of what was actually occuring and sometimes i wish i had my recorder handy....lol I have grown to really look forward to his sleeping conversations and in the mornings, if i remember what he said, then i fill him in on all the juicy details! However, there are times when he has a lot of conversations, but i fail to remember all of them, so i just try to remember the most interesting ones. It is very entertaining indeed! Not sure how much of a response i will get to this, as i am unsure how frequent something of this nature occurs, but i'm positive it happens more then i think, i am just lucky to experience it first-hand!
oh, so you are another sleep talker eh? Very interesting! I find though, that when my boyfriend talks in his sleep, it is very clear and easy to comprehend....he rarely mumbles, much to my satisfaction!...lol
My mother tells me that I talk in my sleep, but only when I'm sick. She also said that I start in the middle of a sentence and talk both ways at the same time!

Yes, I can be a chatter box - most of it is inaudible and incoherent. But if you have nothing better to do a 3 am and you're easily amused, I can provide the pillow talk.
Hello there! Gee, another sleep talker, lol....there's more than i thought! Can your mother ever fully understand what it is you say? I guess if it only happens when your sick....could it be if you're loaded up on meds...if you take meds when you're sick!, that it might cause the sleep talking?
I do like to think of myself as a reasonable, rational thinker. Sometimes a dream is just a dream. "Do people who talk in their sleep maybe not talk much during the day?"...that is an interesting question! In some ways yes, in some ways no....my boyfriend provides me with plenty of verbalizations during the course of a day, but there are times, when he doesn't quite talk as much...not sure if it's directly/indirectly related to sleep talk, could just depend on his mood too. Perhaps it is the case with some people. Honestly, i haven't talked in my sleep, or haven't been told i do...and generally, i am a very quiet, private person...only speaking when i have something important to say...most of my thoughts remain in my mind, and i only talk of things i am passionate about...so i guess my case might disprove your statement, because if it were true, i too would be a sleep talker, which is not the case...unfortunately :(
Yes, I'm one of the unlucky one's who can carry on a full conversation while sound asleep, and not remember it. I've been told it is quite hysterical, some of the things I decide I want to talk about. lol. I do know that I have had phone conversations, because I've woke up with the phone still in my hand. (OMG, might not be a good thing there). lol.
My son, who is 17, just recently, started SINGING and HUMMING in his sleep. He has always been a good natured boy with a very funny sense of humor, and it is so cute to listen to him hum, sing and laugh in his sleep.
I wonder what are the legal ramifications? say you speak of an infidelity, or speak of some other crime..... would the courts allow it as testimony? yes I have talked in my sleep, mostly of past bad experiences I've seen or hard to participate in.... some things just never go away..they become your sleeping companions.
I am told I talk in my sleep. My kids favorite to tell about is one time I was carrying on about purple leprechauns. I think they are fibbin about that, but I wasn't awake to be able to dispute it!
Really?!? Sleep walking....that's a whole other thread right there!..though i'm sure a lot less people have experienced that...lol
I have heard with sleep walkers, it is best to just let them be, as in not touching them...but having a convo with one, that would be very interesting indeed!
