You say your hearts gone cold (19)
Don't want to go there sweetie. It hurts to much. My heart has been broken one to many times in my younger days. It's too cold now to have any feelings for anyone.

The pain hon is to intense. Can't forget the pain. My heart is cold when someone tries to warm it. Other than that it stays warm. Grows cold when someone is trying to get close.

Dusty some days I wish I felt like that but My heart still burns for someone.

Dknew, This how he feels and I feel both. This person that this poem is about has told me the very first two lines of the poem himself. I just used his words and then wrote from it. I know that his heart isn't cold cause I know that he can still care. I just wish that he would open up! But that is only a wish and I know that he deserves happiness and that is all I want for him! Now let me say something if your heart still burns for someone why haven't you tryed to get back with them and tell them exactly how you feel!

Oh we aren't together its just that he is an old friend and I care for him and only want the best for him. He makes me think and I use his words at times for insperation for my poems.
