I think pride will stand in my way much more often than stubbornness will. I am willing to relinquish a bit of both in the right circumstances, but I have pride in many things and can't see myself abandoning it or demeaning it by much... for anyone.
For example, I am proud of how I live my life according to my beliefs and values and I want to continue to do so.
Now, if by pride, you mean a certain air of arrogance or something, then if I am guilty of this, I am happy to have it taken down a notch or two.
