Thank you to all who have posted on this thread or sent emails and flowers.
Not that it is comforting to know that anyone else has gone thru this, but the fact that so many of you have shared so willingly touches me very deeply.
I am so sorry to hear that this is something that we have in common, but hope that, as it has done me some good to get it out in the open, that it has helped others as well.
My biggest hope is that someone who is in a relationship like this, will read the posts and get out of the relationship that they are in and turn the abusive partner into the police..
to all of us that have ever had to deal with this type of situation...it is not our fault and we did nothing to deserve it...all we wanted was to give all of the love we have to someone....just dosen't seem fair..
