I know I am overweight, but I am currently working on it. But I am so tired of guys judging me because of it. Just because I am overweight doesn't mean I am some nasty, negative person. I am pretty positive and a fun loving person.sigh

I think that there are really some unintelligent people out there that do that, no matter what we say or do. BUT, I also know that there are WAY more people that are accepting then there are not...SOOOOO, chin up, stay positive and be yourself. If they dont like it then thats their problem.dancing

Well I must say that people judge people for a great variety of reasons. For me, it's being divorced twice with three kids by three different fathers and I'm only 26. They don't take time to get to know me or find out why I ended up the way I did and don't care about the goals I have with going back to college and still having a career while taking care of my children. People are shallow. What more is there to say?dunno

It seems like no matter what you do, whatever situation you are in, whatever your body type, whatever sports or religion you practice, there will be those who will judge you. It seems to me the key is to surround yourself as much as possible with people who will care for you for who you are, and do what you can to build your self image to a point where the judges of the world can't reach you. Then you can rely on the honest opinions of those who care for you and take everything else with a grain of salt.
