dougiewaberdeen, UK52 Threads 629 Postsdoes anyone actually EAT them anymore? just wondering cos when i was a kid i often went hunting for them then took them home and the family would have a great meal. as i remember, they tasted pretty good. we don't hear of anyone doing such things these days.

yes, I regularly eat rabbit. They don't taste like chicken and rabbit makes a good meat for shish-ka-bobs, As do squirrel, I buy "exotic" meat at a butcher shop close by!

Yeah still eat it when I visit my parents ... mostly in a Spanish rice dish ... I have cooked rabbit for many years myself ... just not the kind of thing one finds in the meat freezer at supermarkets

I used to eat it when I was younger. I always thought it tasted like chicken.
Perhaps, it is a psychological thing.
Anytime someone wants you to try something new, they tell you that it "tastes like chicken." haha. I guess it stuck.
