Christmas Decorations ( Archived) (32)

Well. BIG mistake! I let my daughters pick the decorations this year, and now my living room is covered in my least favourite colour..........PINK!! Tree is covered in pink, pink hanging from the ceiling..........it is a nightmare! Kind of cute though! So girly! lol!

What sort of decorations do you go for. The traditional, or something a little different?

Hey Karen wave

Mine's kind of different.......I have these colourchanging porcelain angels, crystal angels, dolphins, etc. and red, gold and silver coloured balls......My daughter can't stop looking when I light the tree up at night

Pink huh? That's really cute

After my divorce I opted for an artificial tree. No more trying to find someone with a truck to help me go get a tree, get it in the stand, and put it up. This year when I attempted to put it up the bottom part (the stand) broke.

Yesterday I went to buy a new one. I don't really have the money. I don't want to spend the money. I figured I could get a nice tree at a good price at an after Christmas sale for next year. So I bought a small tree on the cheap. I hate it. I am taking it back today.

Coulda saved money in gas if I wouldn't have been so cheap from the get go!

The best part about Christmas is kids.
I can see now that Karen will have to add "Pink" (my favorite color) by Aerosmith to her Christmas song list.

I use the same decorations on my tree every year. I usually get a new one or two each year. I have a bunch!!!
I like to look at them and remember when and where I bought them or who gave them to me. I am very nostalgic that way.
I am not into "theme" trees but enjoy those that are.
