No, I never did, but I had a guy walk out on me because he couldn't get along with my children (teenage boys almost grown). They aren't bad boys, just boys. He tried to boss them around and they rebelled. Now he regrets his actions but I can never trust him again. It takes patience and understanding to maintain a relationship, especially with children from others. dancing

I have been very lucky in this department of my dating. As a matter of fact, I still have some ex boyfriends kids that still call me and say HI. But there is one relationship that I do think would have worked better if his mother wasn't so controlling etc. etc. etc. But that is just looking back....who is really to know.

No, but I hated my ex in-laws. There was never anything I could do to win them over. They always treated me like crap, with the exception of his one grandmother & sister. He had a big family and I never could do ANYTHING right.

One other thing that I don't miss!

My last ex, I loved his family. His mom and I often would go shopping together. His brothers loved to stay at our place when they visited because they loved my cooking. His dad used to introduce me as his future daughter in law. I really miss them.

I lost my thpethial belle because of my having lots of issues with her family, who were actually a very loving bunch.

It was my fault...my baggage.

BUT! They were incredibly suffocating...it was way too much for me, and far too often.

Oh well, I learned I have limits in another frickin' area!laugh

Yes.
1. He was still married to someone else (aka separated).
2. His kids were horrid little monsters.
3. His mother was a drunk trying to force this marriage on me.

Ever regret it? Hell frickin NO! I laughed at the idea of him even going there with me, in his face.
