I work for a large children's clothing store...because it is owned by the Disney Corp, it went all out to provide a "fun" shopping experience for both the parents and the children.
We have family rooms for nursing mothers, but also a "lounge" in the play area for the children where usually the dad sit and watch the kids while mom shop. Many of the moms choose this lounge to breast feed...though i may make a suggestion to use the family room, for the most part if they are comfortable doing what they are doing where they are i leave them be....that is a personal choice.
Most of the staff that works under my supervision are young girls...and as long as they wear the colours specified in our dress code i'm good. But alot of them are "busty" and choose tops that show it off (ummm...myself included.. ), so here is my problem....
It seems that the mothers are "offended" by our show of cleavage, and has complained that it is "inappropriate" wear for a children's store....
Does anyone else see a double standard here? ( @ ) ( @ )
The mums are just jealous that even with their new babies breast-feeding, you and your girls have more cleavage than they do!!....pure envy....homo sapien hates competition....
i like wearing small clothes myself ........ when the occasion fits
but i think theres a difference between dressing for work and dressing for a night out
as long as the girls look clean and tidy and presentable, without looking like they are going out to a nightclub then a bit of cleavage shouldnt be a problem
but if the top has it all spilling out ..... maybe they should re-think the whole dress for work code
and if customers are finding it offensive, why dont you beat em to the post and go to your bosses and suggest a dress code that you can all agree on, before you get told by them what and what not can be worn there
all the big bosses will see is $$$$$$ and if they think that the attire worn by the staff is putting ppl off ....... in will come more rules to deal with it
Im not sure what happens to women when they have a baby in their arms. Im not a prude by any means and I certainly dont find a cleavage offensive. What does offend me is women who whip out a tit to feed a baby. Its just not necessary. Babies should have a routine for feeds so why go shopping at that time. If you know you are going to have to feed baby while you are out, what is wrong with expressing the milk at home and putting it into a bottle. You see I do have opinions on subjects other than size.
and i would say ppl didnt even know i was doing it, theres special feeding bras available, and as long as you have a top on and a feeding bra, and the baby is feeding nothing can be seen anyway
i could walk around shops with my baby feeding and nobody would even be looking, cos they didnt know what was happening, as far as they were concerned i was simply holding my baby and walking around
not all babies will fit into a feeding routine, some, especially smaller or premature babies need to be fed on demand, or even encouraged to feed as often as every hour or less ......... its just impracticle to sit at home all day waiting to feed it ........ babies need fresh air and a change of environment as well, and so do the mums .... no need for the baby blues to step in when sometimes all thats needed is a walk outside or trip to the mall
i think one of the most beautiful things to watch is a baby feeding from its mothers breast
Yeah, but contained within your argument is the premise or the opinion that the public display of a woman breast-feeding is offensive.....contemporary morals aside, why should this be the case??....what is it about the exposed human body in public that offends us? ...do morals like this have a religious origin, or a sociological one??....
I saw a young mother in the train station making a real display of herself (huge bulging boobs..) feeding her kid the other day...I kinda felt awkward as i walked by, and I just averted my gaze, and made a point of looking in the other direction.....it's like TV, if it offends you, look the other way....simple.
You are entirely mistaken....the opportunity to see you copulating in public while eating french fries is something I wouldn't dare miss....which branch??...I don't wanna be late....
Yes, you understood correctly. Im sure its ok to have s*xual intercourse at Mc.Donalds. In fact I think its a perfect location as the act itself makes me quite hungry.
