Depending how badly it went, for example, if u ran out of things to say after ten mins and u r both sat there like dummies, then no, i wouldnt try for the second date,,,, I mean it looks like there is no interest....But people are different and are willing to try for second date...

Why, and how bad. Like if he's an idiot, well he's not likely to get smarter by the secind date. If he's rude to the waitress or others, he's shown his true colors, no need for a further look. If it's just a little uncomfortable, not quite clicking together, I'd probably give it at least one more chance, why not?

It depends how bad it is from the very beginning (like the first 10 minutes).
But I prefer to go out with people that have time to meet and go out again. Not 1 time every other month or some crap. I mean if stuff just "keeps coming up" every time we plan to see each other again, then I don't want to see them and it's wasting my time. I got a life too and do need to do my stuff. I can't sit and wait forever, til they decide to meet again. That's not a life for me!
