I'd retire in a heartbeat, wouldn't even give a two week notice :D
My lifestyle wouldn't change much. I'd have a few extra toys and a 2-3 bedroom house on a lake somewhere. I'd even open a couple savings accounts with a mil apiece for my boys. Knowing my oldest, he'd have it spent in a heartbeat :D The youngest would get his soon as he turned 18.

I work for the Lottery and see the millions won all the time. It does change peoples lives and it does change people. most times not for the good either.
If I won or earned that kind of money I would take care of my children, but not so much they wouldnt appreciate the little things. I would build homes for single moms/dads and families that work hard to take care of their children but just cant buy a home of their own.

not always..........some of the people who win actually donate a portion to charity.......not all though.......sad.

I wouldn't know what to do with it all, I know of a few places to spend it, hometown needs afew million to bring jobs to the area, would be a great start give something back to the community that I owe a great deal to. The rest, charitey, Crohns and colitis foundation, and the Cancer research foundation maybe keep ten million for myself for the hell of it. oh and fix up my car getting rusty and its a great car not gettin rid of it.

Screw that. I'LL take the 100 million and decide where to distribute those 10000 portions. Sure wouldn't want it to be random.
I'd be an idiot with that kind of money. Wouldn't be able to spend it. I'd still be hitting the yard sales and thrift stores. Maybe I'd just build a pole barn to store all my fabulously cheap finds.

When I said my lifestyle wouldn't change much I meant it. Sure, I'd have a few new toys such as vehicles and a house but I wouldn't go to the point where what I own or buy says I'm rich.
As for the charities, maybe a mil for the Heart Foundation.
