This year is a differnt Chrismas for me. I lost a friend this last November (I think it was November) from cancer. He was only 27 and I knew him from school.
Now this last thursday I lost another friend because he had a stroke last Sunday on the 16th. He was totaly brain dead and he just passed away on the 20th. I was at a Christmas party when I found out. So I left the party to go see him because I might get another chance. About 1 hr after I left the hospital from visiting him, he passed away.
And my neighbor's mother just passed away last nite too. My mom and her friend knew the mother of my neighbor so they visited her on the 21st.
Now the weird thing is, she passed away that nite also. So within 24 hrs there were 2 deaths that I knew and my family knew. Now here is the strange part, they both passed away right after they were visited from us.

Since my friend passed away, I have been down. I am having a hard time.
sigh blues

I don't really have anyone to lean on. So if anyone has a shoulder that I can lean on, that would help.

Thanks.

I have also experienced bad things or bereavements happen to me in the past in 3.s. ..Not sure if it's just meant to be a superstition or myth though.

As for your friend and neighbours mother passing after you'd seen them. I would look at that as a good thing. At least you got to see them before they passed away.

At least you still have us all of us on here to talk to and remember we do get through bad times somehow. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger emotionally in the end gift

Possibly the friends and neighbor were comforted by you or your families being there for them and it made their journey possible to continue. I have lost a few friends that fought leaving this physical world until peace found its way to them and they felt safe to leave.

Saddness is normal, reflecting on their lives and how it connected with mine also a neccessary part of grieving for me.

Honor how they touched your life. And may comfort surround you at this time.
