I like it either way, as long as I want to be chased. I have been the first one to contact, and then if I'm responded to fine, if not, who cares. I also get a great ego boost when someone contacts me first, so it really makes me no difference. Eventually though, the chase should end. I don't understand men or women who just like the chase, it's a lot of work!

Therein lies the crux of the issue.
Nothing ventured nothing gained.
If you wake up hungry do you wait alone in hopes someone will deliver sustenance?
Human history is simple really on this level...

Hunters
Gatherers
Conquerors
Tyrants
We just need to choose the one closest to our hearts, with 6 billion people there is someone for each of us. If we both wait then dust shall we return to alone with nothing to leave behind as a legacy to the earth and societies that birthed us. Absolute failure.

It's rather odd, but a gal I dated a few years ago looked me up about a month ago and wished me a happy birthday. Since then she's been calling me every day. We go out about twice a week and she stops by somewhat regularly. While I wouldn't say she's chasing me...I'm not chasing her.
The interesting part was that she thought the grass might be greener on the other side of the fence a few years ago. I think she found too many cow pies....
This time it seems to be working in a lot of ways...but we shall see. I'm not going to start bragging by any means~~~

At times in my long life ( pun intended)..the fun was in the chase and once I caught him/them, then it was over, I no longer had an interest..
