A relationship is a realtionship regardless of distance. How we treat those who we think are too far away from us to be hurt is indicative of how we will treat those close to us when they are not 'looking.' Faithfulness is in the heart and I carry mine with me wherever I go.
It is more than a choice... it is what i wish for, and my promise to do so.
Even though it is difficult not being able to kiss the one you love so far away. A substitute is not an option, if one was to ever cheat then they never had a relationship in the first place and should be shot for treason of th heart.
In my younger days I was living in Bristol, and my BF at the time was living in London. We saw each other most weekends. I was unfaithful once, but it turns out he was unfaithful a lot...............with other men.
I only found this out a few months back!
Anyway, the answer would be, for the right person, I would be totally faithful, but I wouldn't put myself in the position where I would be in a long distance relationship really. If I am with someone, I want to be able to see them without a long journey being involved!

What he said! Staying faithful is not the issue (IMO) in a LDR, something else is....
