SOMEBODY ASKED ME WHY I WOULD PUT MY NAME OUT HERE? (8)

I geuss I was sleeping at the key board the other morning when I responded to a forum post and typed my real name at the bottom of my message.(big deal) This person asked me if I wasn't concerned about
having my pic up and now they had my first NAME. Oh my goodness. The only response I could come up
with was this.........if any one is lookin 4 me .....bring it on....I'm not very hard to find in this small town.
Probably enough people around to point you in my direction We can either go have a coffee
and be friends, or if you are lookin for trouble then you had better have some help.
I am not to young to remember when a mans handshake and word were all you needed.
My father(RIP) used to say: "If you are afraid to give me your name then you better be afraid of me."
He was a landowner who conducted most of his business that way till the day he died.
I don't like to think we have to live in a world we need to hide in.

Hi my name is Larry, this is my brother Darrell and my other brother Darrell.

I think that other person was referring to some of the stalkers on these sites. I had a girl post my personal info after we had a fight. She took it down the next day but people I didn't even know was asking me what that fight was about.
So yeah I think that was what the person was referring too.
Hell half the gay ads on craigslist are posted by women trying to get back at their exs.

As Larry above me stated - they were probably talking about the odd one getting your name. Some people are so paranoid about being found out (that they are online - on a dating site) They are worried about friends & family or co-workers finding out.

I use my real name quiet often and I think most of the people here in the Canadian Forums know the first names of others here.
