Robin Williams' plan...(Hard to argue with this logic!)

I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan:

1) The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. We will promise never to "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No more sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where they are. France would welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 day visits unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation would be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself, don't hide here. Asylum would not ever be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers.

5) No "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home, baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self sufficient energy wise. This will include developing non polluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else.

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere". They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides, most of what we give them gets "lost" or is taken by their army. The people who need it most get very little, anyway.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an island some place. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, it would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

9b) Use the buildings as replacement for the twin towers.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer.

Now, ain't that a winner of a plan.

Wouldn't it be nice to finally have someone in the whitehouse who has what it takes to make the toughest decisions and back them up with action. Much of this "plan" makes perfect sense to me

I was sent this by my Mother awhile back and all the election stuff on here made me think of it.

Thats what I like to see, a little compassion and humanitarian values

If you are that xenophobic (look it up), I suggest that you use all the money that you will be saving by not interfering, find a planet a long long way away, Terra form it, live there and leave America to the people who were their first, the native Americans.

(BY the way I know I am not an American. But the strategies that you have outlined would affect us).

Not to toss you in the wood chipper but the whole world runs to us then bad mouths us after the fact because they don't like the way we did what they didn’t have the guts or willingness to do. Most Americans are fed up, I think a thank you would be really nice from time to time.
You hear comments all the time about lazy Americans, and just how rotten we are, well just for one minute I would like everyone to think about how it would be if we really were as lazy and awful as many in the world claim. We and the few allies we have that do back us and don’t trash us, and IMO they are the only ones I feel deserve our help any more let the others fend for them selves. I guaranty in a few months when the paychecks and all the support stops we will hear a lot of “Please” going on in the world. In closing I think all the USA bashes should keep this in mind the next time they think they should tell us what we are doing wrong, but if you choose to bash us please add how much support you have received from us, just this year will be fine.

If you read my post I am not bashing Americans, just these strategies. It is such a shame there are a lot of good ones, but unfortunately, they are not as vocal.

Oh and by the way. What have you done for us, except give us your need for consumerism, which is what is causing most of the problems that you are try ing to fix.

But as I say I have met many good people from your land.
