I swear I'm not prejustice but with construction booming in the south like it is it's fricking embarrasing to turn over a building with the shabby construction methods. Where have all the craftsmen gone? Is Florida the only place this is happening?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Tennessee is wretched.

I blame a little on the poor economy. Folks either can't or don't want to pay for truly skilled labor.

BUT there is a bonus. They want crappy work, they get crappy work, and you're in like flin to do repairs damn near annually. Job security.

If you feel like you are an Eagle working with Turkeys perhaps it's time to soar over to a few other companies and drop off your résumé

There's never any reason for an Eagle not to soar unless it's clipped it's own wings.

;o)

I worked for a construction company here and I QUIT!!! I was disgusted at how the homebuyers were screwed over time and time again. I was doing their accounting and I noticed that the buyers would be paying for a high quality wood, and the company was building with the cheapest they could find...big $$$$$ right there, not to mention everything else, but the structure itself?? My God!! I was getting calls about customers falling through their newly built stairs! The day I quit I called ALL the people that had hired this company to build their home and informed them of what was going on...my brother included, 2 years later and his house still isn't finished LOL There seem to be fewer and fewer that take pride in craftsmanship.

Ok Billy, thanks for getting me on a rant today!

Ok, I see now.

You ARE the chief Eagle.

That makes more sense.

I can sympathize fully!

Yes, turkeys are all too abundant.

Agreed.

We need to have more Thanksgiving Dinners!!!

Eat those Turkeys, free the Eagles!
