Some of us make certain websites our "favorites". This happens to be one of mine, just for the forums.

But what of your other favorites? For instance, your favorite wine, recipe, smile, film, piece of music?

I had this idea and then read cuspomagic's thread about Australian wine. One of my favorite, if not thee favorite wine of mine is S. Australia wine because it is so rich and heavy. The only other wine that I have found to be so "full" is that of the arrid lands of British Columbia.

So, introduce yourself and some of your favorite things.....

I know it sounds like cheese, but my favorite of that sort is caught between Norweigan Jarlsberg and Swiss Gruyere.

A few of my favourite things, well it's not wine for starters.

Crumpets for starters.

Cadbury chocolate.

Good music, I can't name just one.

The latest bestseller either from Stephen King, Robert Grisham or Jeffery Archer. For a favourite well I can't choose as there are too many between them.

A debate with one of my girlfriends, always interesting to see who wins that one laugh

Favourite country is New Zealand.

Favourite recipe is anything from Down Under, well not everything of course.

Favourite sport to watch is rugby.

My favourite list could go on for each category I could think of but I think this is enough.

Good thread by the way Tumpa.

A fall night, a fire in the fire pit with a slight fall chill in the air. A subtle whiff of smoke from the fire and maybe a glass of wine and some companionship. It's good~

Hi. My name is toni, and these are a few of my favorite things...

my son's laughter
the cats falling asleep at my feet purring
the history channel
a brand new notebook with a brand new mechanical pencil to pour my thoughts out in any incoherent fashion I please
turning the heat down and curling up in fleece pajamas and a fluffy comforter
Emily Post
sitting alone on the big slab of rock by the creek drinking a cup of coffee while I keep an eye on the burning barrel
Amish country
the hot dogs served at country auctions
men who wink
Alice in Wonderland and anything else written by Lewis Carrol
Enigma, Zero 7, Massive Attack, Deep Forest, Bjork - and a bubble bath with candles
CSI
The NFL (especially the Cleveland Browns)
the look on my big sister's face when she's surprised and pleased at the same time
and my son's laughter.

Some of my favorite things:

A warm towel to wrap in after a cold shower.

The scent of good coffee in the morning.

Blade Runner and Logan's Run are just two of my favorite movies.

Francis, Asimov, just two of a long list of authors I collect to read and reread.

I love lobster thermidor and beef jerky.

Martinelli's apple cranberry juice is my current favorite drink.

I prefer to wear silk and cotton, linen is third choice.

Love the scent of roses and vanilla spiced with green tea.
