Help me OB One Jesus, I'm posting in politics.

It's a simple question though (well maybe two) ...

Why is liberal ideas shared world wide and conservative ideas limited to selected few?

Why does a democratic party have a donkey as a symbol? Liberals are not dumb and stubborn.

I disagree with this presumption in the first place.
What brought you about to this conclusion?

I don't think your first comment has anything to do with this one??

Easy answer to this second comment.
Just look at what condition we are in now after almost * yrs of republican majority.. we are in such bad financial condition.

At least the Republicans had the budget balanced.

People just do not want this trend to continue

People want change that is evolving over time that's why people favored it over the conservative ideas which is more dogmatic.

Dogma on both sides. Just different dogma depending on one's affiliation.

Democrats are extremely dogmatic about the underclass and disenfranchised.
Republicans are extremely dogmatic about the sanctity of family.

I don't think either party is promoting anything immoral really.
We just have to choose which dogmatic philosophy we better identify with.

I think it's more about how you view life in general.

If you have a high regard for people and the ability of people to resolve their own problems and what an individual can achieve, you'll vote one way.

If you think most people are helpless and stupid, need to be cared for and only government (employees) can fix your life, you'll vote another way.

If you believe that freedom is of the utmost importance.....you'll probably be a Libertarian.

Then you get into the multitude of sub-issues~

JMO~

Now let's see if that "stirs the puddin'" rolling on the floor laughing

If you believe in corporate greed, you'll vote one way.

If you believe war is the only answer, you'll vote one way.

If you believe in tough love for the middle class and lower, you'll vote one way.

If you believe the little people are not smart enough to be rich, you'll vote one way.

If you believe deficits are only numbers, you'll vote one way.

Actually though Robert, I do believe in the "little" people......and their ability to succeed.

{Certainly I wasn't born w/a silver spoon, nor do I own one now, and probably won't own a silver spoon, but I do have an appreciation for what I've earned...not what was provided to me by someone else.} Trivial I suppose...but that's where my value system is derived.} dunno

It's all in how one desires to get from point A to point B. I suppose~

Your points are well taken though thumbs up
