Over 40 Dating? (4)
freebird516durango, Colorado USA28 Threads 232 PostsWhy does it seem to be so complicated to date after 40? Been divorced for 7 years now and kids are grown. Have good job and no baggage from any previous relationships but seem to run into the same things when I date. Either Too much baggage or they seem to have an agenda. I realize people are looking for certain things but why cant we just date and let things take a natural course. Any advice?

become a hermit?????can't help ya with that cause i hear the same thing about over 30 dating, over 50 dating......etc etc
i think it just boils down to people are people and you have to go through a few to find the one who sparks the flame

I was telling my best friend basically the same thing last night. You can't go into every date or relationship thinking this is the one. Some people are in your life for a while, they enrich it and you both enjoy the time, but it doesn't mean it's meant to be forever. Just do it, have fun, and if it turns into something special you've been blessed.
