I of course enjoy reading the forums (especially the threads concerning successtories ) - I sometimes add replies - and for some reason I mostly correspond with women
Please notice that I am NOT lesbian ....
I checked my mailbox today, courious to see the first letters that I`ve received - and then I noticed that almost all members are still active here!!!!
So now I wonder if I should put up some sort of a timelimit for how long I want to stay here...
Or stick to Flower of the Snows experience : When she stopped looking for someone - he just showed up (here on this site).

You made me go back and check how long have I been on here for...I joined in June 2006!!!! I never think how long should I stay here for...I will stay until I get bored with it. I have made many friends and dated guys from the site too.
Regarding the success stories, although the threads keep coming up in the forum, it doesn't mean that who THOUGHT that found his / her soulmate then, is NOW living happily ever after! Finding a soulmate is one of the toughest things a human has to go through in life and it surely doesn't happen over night. Seems like the older we grow, the tougher it becomes. But what the heck, let's just enjoy eachother's company without any expectations. Remember that for every pot there is a lid and if I don't find my lid, I'm happy anyway the way I am today!
Just recovered from a week in bed with severe gastric flu and am appreciating feeling healthy again! That's what's important!!!

I joined in July 2006 but had a 5 month break last year.
I think I'll probably continue in that way with long breaks, until I'm in a serious relationship. I'm not criticising people who stay long after they find their partner, but I'd rather do other things, despite the fact that there are lovely people here.
The good thing about my long break was that I reduced my working hours and developed a social life in the real world with great friends. Unfortunately that life is in Spain, so here I am in Russia and on CS regularly until May when I can get back into the social whirl and not depend on CS so much to ease my boredom.
Maybe twice a week on CS is a good balance.

Unless it's p.ssing down with rain for 2 weeks solid and you live 1 mile up a mud track on a mountain with sheer drops to the side of track ... In which case one tends to limit outings and skidding around to the absolutely necessary!!!

I have also been on here for around 9 months although i have been rather lucky as it only took me 2 - 3 months to find my current and hopefully longterm boyfriend we have been dating for nearly 7 months now and we are considering moving onto the next step and moving in together.
Now i am still on here quite a few evenings a week to see who is saying what and still attend the Malta CS meetings which are great fun..... but i also have my life away from here too. I think its having a good balance between CS life and real life. My boyfriend on the other hand decided a couple of months ago that he didnt need CS anymore and has removed his profile and himself from here....so i suppose each to their own, i dont see anything wrong with still coming on CS even though you are in a relationship as long as you have stated that in your profile.
