ok i notice alot of forums about religion, but what about this one.. satanists?? see ive read up a bit about it, and im not a follower of any religion, and im not saying i support it.. but i believe it is the most misunderstood religion of them all..
alot of people tend to think they are devil worshippers which is not true! they dont perform human or animal rituals, the only rituals they have have is where they go into a confessionl booth and make a doll of the person they feel has hurt them or done wrong to them and stick pins in it while shouting and screaming and letting all the built up emotion out on the doll..
satanism from what i have read is that it is they dont have a god to follow of any form, they believe you are your own god and that you should worship yourself and your own needs.
as i said im not a follower or a believer of this religion in any way, as i am with any other religion, but it would be interesting to see other peoples views on it..

9. Satan has been the best friend of the Church has ever had, as it has kept it in business all these years.

I happen to meet a Satinist on this site. his handle is Crazyboynva. I chatted with him for quite sometime. I loved him..he heard me out and I heard him out. As far as his religion. Actually his religion covered alot of Christian values but they didn't object to enjoying themselves. It kind of freaked me out but I looked on the web and had the same as he said.

As far as a person and what he felt and related. He was really no different than you and I? I can't say...

Mainly, Christianity and Islam consider everything relating to paganism, Buddhism, Krishna, religions of ancient Greece, Rome and many others as Satanist, even if the religion was a peaceful one

Sounds like the philosophy of a person I work with. He acts as though he's God and cares for only himself. I'll suggest this religeon to him..

Personally, I have never felt any strong desire to "understand" Satanism. I will say that the information presented so far in this thread seems to contradict other literature that I have examined regarding Satanic worship. It would seem then that like other religions, Satanism is similarly diverse in dogma and ritual.

Ok, I just feel a need to point this out...
"Christianity and Islam" do not consider every other religion Satanist... only the select few who claim to follow those beliefs would do that.

It's always the one annoying barking dog in the neighborhood that everyone remembers...
that doesn't mean it's the most popular, just the most remembered.

they say that everyone is born a satanist.. you just need to realise it! well me personally, i dont follow any god, i dont listen to any religious stuff at all.. and i listen to heavy metal! does this make me a satanist?? or a pagan?? or atheist??
