I don't know how to cook fish-fingers, but I prefer first salt fish, then put it on flour and only than fry it on butter or vegetable oil

Are these the premade fish fingers? I think they have to be totally defrosted and then you have to preheat the oil if frying.

I just dip fish in seasoned egg then breadcrumbs then put them in the oven for about twelve to twenty minutes depending on how thick the fillets are.

To fry from frozen I think it has to be deep fry with the oil very hot so it defrosts and seals all at once, otherwise the bread falls off the still frozen fish. I do not fry thing much so I may be wrong...

Frozen fish or poultry with batter already on it, should be baked in the oven and turned over halfway through the cooking process. Deep frying is fine too, but the oven is healthier.wave

Fresh fish we filet, then in egg and followed by bread crumbs then
in the frying pan. With salt and pepper of course. The prepackaged fish with crust, we just put in the oven on a cookie sheet and bake.
Follow directions on the box. drinking
