I love both... but have to remain loyal to the Simpsons, they still deliver smart comedy without ever going over the top, there are times that Family Guy goes beyond the realm of something I would be comfortable watching with my parents.

I have never liked the Simpsons, in fact I don't like animation. HOWEVER...I really like Family Guy. I guess I just wonder how they get away with some of the things they do on the show

BUT!!! Then, Family Guy came along and, well, I think it's just brilliant...unsurpassed in it's genre.
Stewie is hillarious...Brian sooo cool, and as for Lois... .

FAMILY GUY!! definately, you could see that the simpsons tried to bring in the randomness into their newer shows.. but it just didnt work with them like it did with family guy.. and quagmires the man! "in bed by 8 and home by 11.. alright! giggidy giggidy!!"

Well, you Family Guys may be right. I've only watched a handful of shows, and I did appreciate the "envelope-pushing" I saw there. Wasn't so sure about the story lines...but I'm a big fan of pushing the limits of good taste and decency in humor...
