I met Dan Blocker once, very nice guy.
Bonanza was in color and Gunsmoke was in black & white so visually Bonanza was more interesting. Besides I think Bonanza had better plots than Gunsmoke. More professional actors too I think.

Ahhh....Lonesome Dove.God,Was'nt that a great Movie(s)?Robert Duvall had his part down so well.
