My Joy is for the Hummingbirds
100 per cent...without a doubt.
I LOVE them for their Beauty...
Boldness...Complete fascination is a given.

From state to state it is the same...
They Migrate...
just before Winter months set in...
Leaving us anxiously awaiting
their triumphant return every Spring.

When the Earth is renewed and alive
in all it's wonderous glory...
sprouting endless buds of Color.

Yes..they are very fast

Thats one of the reasons I like handfeeding them...besides the challenge of it...

Seeing them "sill"...even if it's only for a few fleeting seconds...is Priceless!

Plant "Columbines" to attract them. I did and see them every season from spring thru summer. They love the nectar from these perrenial plants. They flower beautifully, come in a lot of colors and since they are perrenials, they come up every year.

I have! The Red Columbines are my favorites!
